Iv recently changed the DMF slave valve and cluch about 2 weeks ago.. Now I have a grinding like noise whene I Change from 1st to 2nd and if I make the gear change slowly there is no grinding nois, also whene I accelerate or take my foot off the gas quickly I get a clunking noise,also on hard acceleration from 2nd to 3rd I get a slight wobble from the front end... could any one help please!!

If it definitely wasn't there before this work then something hasn't been done right. Did you check the dmf was OK? (Don't ask me how though)

 

Is the grinding from the gears when you change - in that case the clutch isnt fully disengaging. The fact that its ok when you do it slowly suggest you need to bleed air from the slave cylinder hydraulics.

Thank for your reply seatkid, the grinding of the gear change was not there before but it only grind's whene changing up or down to 2nd. I did do a check on the DMF before changing it there was a hell of a metal v metal noise on start up and when in idle once you put your foot on the cluch it would stop, also the car was shaking like hell due to the out of balance DMF.
